On Trend: Blush
Blush, rose, light pink, shell – all shades that are so ubiquitous in design, they should be considered a neutral. Rosy hues provide a feminine, yet sophisticated, backdrop to any overall design. They also pair well with true neutrals as a more subtle “pop” of color, for clients that are color-shy. At Perennials, we adore a blush fabric or rug, and we offer many options and shades. Discover our favorites below…
Elements in Conch
A longtime designer favorite, Elements is a Perennials fabric that provides fun pattern play and color. Elements in Conch combines pink and coral yarns for a lovely overall effect.
Homespun in Peony
Designed for the 2021 Kips Bay Dallas Show House, this little girl’s room was dreamt up by Shelly Rosenberg. Rosenberg designed the most adorable custom chair upholstered in Homespun in Peony. The tweed-like fabric features gorgeous color variation, with the Peony colorway including an array of pinks, oranges, and whites.
In the Loop in Shell
A very popular color for baby nurseries, Shell is super soothing, especially in a cozy boucle such as In the Loop. Fort Worth designer Jessica McIntyre designed a beautiful nursery lounger that exudes sophistication, yet will stand up to any baby messes!
Plushy in Shell
Yates Desygn created a sultry chic basement lounge for the 2021 Kips Bay Dallas Show House. Yates designed a custom curvy sectional adorned in the ultra-luxe Plushy in Shell.
Jake Stripe in Tutti Frutti
D.C.-based interior designer Susan Harreld takes pattern play to another level by mixing Jake Stripe in Tutti Frutti cushions with Bazaar pillows in Melon. This outdoor seating arrangement provides a colorful setting for entertaining guests.
