Sutherland Furniture Taps Eugeni Quitllet for Spring 2025 Collections
Contemporary Design Permeates Crescent and Monaco II
Influenced by Parisian gardens and the famous Cristal Palace in Madrid, Quitllet utilized the half-arc shape while designing Crescent. Crescent pieces are crafted with premium aluminum frames, and available to powder coat in 18 sophisticated hues. The Crescent Lounge Chair, Crescent Three-Seat Sofa and Crescent Dining Arm Chair combine these contemporary frames with ultra-cozy cushions guests will want to sink into for hours. The Crescent Ottoman pairs beautifully with the lounge chair, begging guests to prop their feet up.
Designers can customize every Crescent table with either aluminum or teak tops. The Crescent Dining Table and Crescent Coffee Table retain Quitllet’s crescent motif in the base, resulting in an elegant form. Ideal for hospitality and commercial spaces, the Crescent Square Bistro Table and Crescent Round Bistro Table feature a simple base design, suitable for any aesthetic.
“The crescent is a structural and ornamental element that shaped the beauty of the most famous gardens in the world from the 18th century,” says Eugeni Quitllet, product designer. “This element, revisited in a modern way, provided a vision of building a garden furniture collection that evokes the timeless feeling of living in the most beautiful gardens in the world.”
A call back to Quitllet’s first Sutherland collection, Monaco II takes elements from the original collection and reimagines them with elevated materials. The Monaco II Dining Arm Chair, available in all teak or teak with aluminum legs, features the same modern back, yet offers sleek rounded arms and tapered legs. The Monaco II Rectangular Dining Table is a versatile design with beautiful tapered legs and a base that secures the understated yet timeless teak top.
